Mothers Circle — Taco Tuesday + Craft Night + Support Group
Currently Running and Open
A monthly, in-person support night for tired moms of school-aged kids (all the way from TK–12th) — facilitated by mom of two, 30-year K-5 teacher , + therapist specialized in child, teen, and family mental health - Danielle Ridill.
You don’t need more information — you’re already drowning in that, and it’s at least half the problem contributing to your brain fog.
You need connection, nuance, salt-of-the-earth wisdom, and moms in it with you who can help you find your way back to your intuition. We’ll be here with the food, the music, the vibe, the open arms, and the soft space for you to land when being a mom is feeling like the exact opposite.
The details:
When: Upcoming Tuesdays Monthly — Oct 6 · Nov 3 · Dec 1 - continuing Tuesdays in January
Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm
Where: The Bloom Room, 324 Avenida de la Estrella, Unit B, San Clemente
Cost: $26 per night — includes Group Session, Craft Supplies, Taco Dinner + Beverages — Bundle sign-ups are discounted - and encouraged in order to get the most out of the group therapeutic experience.
Space is limited — we keep our groups small by design.
What a night actually looks like:
Informal taco dinner + refreshments as we all arrive and enjoy the simple pleasure of a meal without anyone needing something from you.
Short intro, prompt, and checkin. At your first group you’ll be invited to paint a worry rock, and each month it holds the week’s heaviness so you can lay it down for this window of time.
Then, we CRAFT and simply share organic, guided conversation about what stage, phase, celebration, or challenge each mother is bringing in.
Topics covered: big feelings (theirs and ours), IEPs and 504s, the never-ending grief and guilt of motherhood, marriage, screens, power struggles, personal or relational stress, ADHD, PDA, anxiety, morning battles…we could really keep going on and on here, but you already know the rest.
We will have a simple seasonal craft available each month…because let’s be honest, crafting is more fun when there are no kids around….
You’ll leave each month with a full belly, a goody bag of take home tools, tips, encouragement, and resources, a more settled nervous system, and a soul filled with a growing community of strong women, and hopefully some new mom friends who won’t judge you and don’t pretend to have a perfect life.
All lovingly and compassionately led by Danielle Ridill — CUSD teacher of 30 years, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and mother of 2.
-
Coming to more than one? Select a date, hit Register, follow prompts, then repeat for each date — everything lands in one cart. Or grab the Season Pass and you’re set for the whole season at a discount.
We will continue in the winter + spring, pausing during school breaks. Jan-May 2027 Dates Coming Soon!
